![]() Should they run into an enemy and get killed, the loss is minimal. Infantry can be very useful as scouts in the early game due to their low cost. Nothing can stand against my Mammoth Tanks Units If your power drops below the needed level, you will suffer several effects including a slower building, radar going offline, and certain defensive structures like Tesla Coil and Obelisk of Light ceasing to function altogether. If you are getting low on power, build another Power Plant before any other building. Keep an eye on your power usage, I cannot stress this enough. This can be reconsidered later when the resources are further away. In my experience, you shouldn’t build more than 2 Harvester per Refinery as they will get stuck when they need to unload at the same time. You will want to build 2 Refineries early on, and once you get your War Factory up and have a tank or 2, you’ll want to build an extra Harvester for each Refinery. Generally, I build a Refinery first to get my economy started but if you are playing with little to no units, you may opt to build the Barracks first and get some units out to defend your base. After deploying your MCV into a Construction Yard, you will build your first Power Plant followed by either a Barracks or Refinery. Also, many of the points in this guide are applicable to the single-player campaigns as well. I will be using general terms that apply to all factions to avoid confusion, for example, Harvester refers to both Tiberium Harvesters ( Tiberium Dawn) or Ore Trucks ( Red Alert). Note that the first section of the guide refers to general gameplay tips that are relevant in both Tiberium Dawn and Red Alert, using any faction. This guide will give you some basic strategies to getting that first multiplayer win in Command and Conquer Remastered. ![]() The recent release of the Command and Conquer Remastered series has reignited the fire for many long-time fans and also gives a new generation a chance to jump into these classic RTS games. ![]() That made Tiberium Dawn and Red Alert very simple to jump into but can still pose a proper challenge when battling it out against other skilled players. The first Command and Conquer games were released in the mid ’90s, a time when games weren’t nearly as complicated as they are now. ![]()

Hello, Super Metroid speedrunning community! ![]() ![]() There are several other minor differences in track lengths across the three albums. “4th of July” on The Unforgettable Fire is some 25 seconds longer and has an extended fade out. On War, “Seconds” is longer due to an extended “Soldier Girls” excerpt in the middle of the song. The MSFL pressings of all three albums were widely regarded as the highest fidelity available at the time, and there is still debate over whether these versions or the remasters from the mid 2000s are superior.īecause MFSL albums are newly mastered from the original master tapes, there are often slight differences from the original releases, and this is true of all of the U2 releases on the imprint. The Unforgettable Fire was also released as a numbered, limited edition MFSL LP in June 1995 as part of the label’s ANADISQ 200 series, half-speed masterings on 200-gram vinyl. Three U2 albums were released on MFSL CD War in January 1993, The Unforgettable Fire in March 1995, and The Joshua Tree in November 1996. Ultradiscs were also packaged in a unique hinged “lift-lock” jewel case to make removing the CD from the case effortless. U2’s albums released on MFSL CD all utilized the Ultradisc II technology. In 1992, the Ultradisc II was introduced, featuring a thicker gold coating and a more advanced bonding process. Gold resists the oxidation that could limit the shelf life of standard CDs. In 1984, MSFL released their first albums on compact disc, and in 1987 introduced the Ultradisc, which used 24-karat gold rather than aluminum as the CD coating. MFSL continued to advance the art of audio technology throughout the 80s and 90s, introducing Original Master Recording cassettes, duplicated in real time as opposed to high-speed dubbing, in 1981. The 1979 MFSL release of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon put the label on the map as a major player in the audiophile world. MFSL built a reputation for high fidelity by mastering albums directly from the original master tapes, as well as other specialized processes such as half-speed mastering of LPs. Miller had begun his career in the late 50s, releasing recordings of steam trains and other environmental sounds on his own imprint, Mobile Fidelity Records. MFSL, a record label specializing in audiophile-quality recordings, was founded by recording engineer and producer Brad Miller in 1977. The re-release of U2’s (first) magnum opus features a 2007 remaster supervised by The Edge, but many fans may not realize that The Joshua Tree was remastered once before, over 20 years ago, and released on a specially imprint called Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab ( MFSL). As the Joshua Tree 2017 Tour winds through North America, the 30th anniversary release of the album is just a couple of weeks away. ![]() ![]()
